INCENTIVE:

Kol's brother places a death hex on him, one that will kill him fairly quickly, and succeeds in doing so. Right before his death, he'll ask for it to be removed so he can continue life with Davina. When he finally gets what he wants in life: his family to care about him to some extent, an amazing girl that shares his love and his magic back, he's hexed to die by his own brother. If the hex is removed, he'd live rather happily.

FIT:

Kol would fit beautifully into Eudio because he's always wanted his own life. Kol wishes for his freedom. Freedom from his mother's abuse, from his siblings' shenanigans and abuse and ultimately the freedom to have his own life. From the beginning of his life, he's always wanted to be free, enjoying his free choice to be a witch -- something that was quickly taken away when he was forced into being a vampire. From there on, he tried to escape being the odd-man-out and trying to have his own life. Time and time again however, he was daggered and had decades of his life stolen from him whilst he was put into a deep sleep. It became obey his siblings or have his freedom taken away. The environment would be a perfect place for an abuse victim to settle down in and heal. He also adores magic, all forms of it. Throughout his 1000 years he traveled the world and learned every form of magic he could. Eudio would be like heaven to him. Consistently, there was one thing Kol always was -- good to witches and magic users, as good as his disturbed mental state as a vampire could be anyway. He's always and will always see them as his people. He would miss Davina, but knowing he could save his own life, and then go back home to protect hers, it would be easy for him to reason.

CONSENT:

Kol has broken consent before, when he was forced into being a vampire, he had no issue taking his rage and need to feel something out by hurting others and compelling people and vampires alike. This however was when he was a vampire -- in the series vampirism is treated and written like an addiction. They can hardly control themselves because their emotions are heightened. Kol suffered abuse as a child and young adult and was murdered by his own parents to be turned into a monster that survived on blood and the suffering of others, and had his magic -- the only thing that made him feel alive and like he had some power in his situation of abuse -- ripped from his hands and replaced with an insatiable bloodlust. As a vampire he was erratic and driven by emotions, however turbulent they were.

When Kol was brought back as a witch, with normal human emotions and the ability to feel again, with it came care and respect. He had a newfound appreciation for consent because his had been taken away from him so often in his life. Throughout the season, Kol shows an aggressive ability to understand and respect consent as he romances Davina. Never does he touch her without her consent, or force her into anything she doesn't want, nor does he manipulate her into anything she doesn't want. He constantly allows her to make the first move on.

He would not have any issue following the consent rules because he has a healthy understanding of consent and why it sucks to have it disrespected, as a human. So not only would he follow the rules because he wants something from the city but also because he understands why it should be followed.

[ Kol could feel how cold his hands were, and how everything around him would no doubtedly fade. He has died before, due to his family's treachery. It's nothing new to him. ]

[ He has what he's always wanted, a love, his family's love, and the magic he's missed. His family might actually miss him wherever he left to... but he doubted it, no matter how hopeful. ]

Once an Original Vampire - with all the traits and skills of one, he is now just a human witch.

Kol is a Mikaelson witch - a son of the Original Witch - so with that comes power, especially since he practiced when he was young, being a child prodigy when it came to witchcraft. He's got over 1000 years of knowledge of spells and tips and tricks under his belt, as well as the knowledge of Kemiya. From what he's expressed he seems to know what he's doing when it comes to magic, even dark magic. He is the reason New Orleans is littered with dark and cursed objects.
